When is Asia Fruit Logistica 2027?

Asia Fruit Logistica 2027 runs for three days, Tuesday 7 to Thursday 9 September 2027, in Hong Kong. The organiser lists show hours of 9:00 to 17:00. The Asiafruit Knowledge Centre, home of the Asiafruit Congress, runs on the show floor on the same three days.

The show is held every September. The 2026 edition ran from 2 to 4 September 2026 and the 2025 edition from 3 to 5 September 2025, both at AsiaWorld-Expo.

Where is Asia Fruit Logistica and how do you get there?

Asia Fruit Logistica is held at AsiaWorld-Expo on Lantau Island, right next to Hong Kong International Airport, not at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. The venue has its own station on the Airport Express line.

AsiaWorld-Expo says the Airport Express reaches its station in about 2 minutes from the airport, 25 minutes from Kowloon Station and 28 minutes from Hong Kong Station in Central. The venue lists adult fares to AsiaWorld-Expo of HK$78 from Kowloon and HK$85 from Hong Kong Station, with free MTR connections on the same Octopus card. In 2026 the organiser also offered show visitors a same-day return ticket for HK$60 between downtown and AsiaWorld-Expo, sold at counters in Hong Kong and Kowloon stations; a 2027 offer has not been announced.

Other options named by the venue and the organiser: the Tung Chung Express Bus to Tung Chung MTR Station (about 9 minutes), local buses, taxis to the main entrance, cross-border coaches from the bus station next to the venue to Guangzhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen, the nearby Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge port, and ferries to six Pearl River Delta ports.

Flying out on the last day? In 2026 Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Airlines and Greater Bay Airlines passengers could check in and drop bags at AsiaWorld-Expo.

Is Asia Fruit Logistica open to the public, and how do you get a ticket?

No. The organiser's visitor terms say the show is open to trade and business visitors only, and the general public and anyone under 18 are not admitted. Business attire is required, and shorts, sport sandals and flip-flops are not allowed. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Ticket prices for 2027 have not been published yet as of October 2026, and the 2027 ticket shop is marked as coming soon. For 2026, a one-day ticket cost USD 40 online and USD 60 onsite, and a three-day ticket USD 60 online and USD 100 onsite. Every ticket included the Asiafruit Knowledge Centre, so Asiafruit Congress and Business Forum sessions on the show floor were free for ticket holders.

Qualified buyers can register free. In 2026 importers, wholesalers, food processors, food service (HoReCa) buyers and retailers could apply for a complimentary three-day ticket and access to FreshMatch, the organiser's meeting scheduler, with Premium Buyer and Retailer's Club upgrades. The 2027 buyer programme is listed as coming soon.

What is on at Asia Fruit Logistica, and what is the Asiafruit Congress?

Asia Fruit Logistica covers the whole fresh produce value chain, from growers and exporters to packing, cold chain and logistics. It is organised by Global Produce Events (HK), a joint venture of Messe Berlin, which runs Fruit Logistica in Berlin, and Fruitnet Media International, publisher of Asiafruit Magazine.

The Asiafruit Congress is the show's conference, running since 1998 and curated by Asiafruit Magazine. It is the main stage of the Asiafruit Knowledge Centre on the show floor, alongside the Asiafruit Business Forum (workshops and case studies) and the Asiafruit Showcase (exhibitor presentations). The Asia Fruit Awards are presented at the Congress. In 2026 the three days were themed Consumers and Markets, Tech and Innovation, and Logistics and Trade. The 2027 programme has not been published.

In 2026 the show added FRESHTech, a technology zone and stage, plus forums on nuts and dried fruit and on frozen fruit and vegetables; the organiser says FRESHTech returns in 2027. The 2026 edition drew a record 16,000 attendees from 95 countries and regions and more than 760 exhibitors from 41 countries, with 27 national and regional pavilions.

The online catalogue lets you filter exhibitors by continent, product, industry and company name, and shows each exhibitor's products, services and stand location. The official event app, in English and Chinese, lets you search exhibitors by country, category or sector and works offline; WeChat users can use the show's mini program.

Where should you stay for Asia Fruit Logistica?

The closest hotels are at SkyCity and the airport, within walking distance of or one train stop from AsiaWorld-Expo. Tung Chung, also on Lantau Island, is the next nearest area. Many visitors stay in Kowloon (Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, Kai Tak) or on Hong Kong Island (Wan Chai, Central) and take the Airport Express from Kowloon or Hong Kong Station.

The organiser runs an official hotel list with show rates near the venue, in Kowloon and on Hong Kong Island. In 2026 several of the Tung Chung and city hotels on that list ran a free shuttle to AsiaWorld-Expo on show days. 2027 hotel rates have not been published yet; check the Travel Service page on the organiser's site.

Tips for buyers and visitors at Asia Fruit Logistica

• Register early. In 2026 online tickets were a third cheaper than onsite or more, and buyers who qualify get in free.
• If you buy for an importer, retailer, wholesaler or food service business, apply for the buyer programme and book meetings in FreshMatch before you fly.
• Use the online catalogue to shortlist stands by product and country, then plan your route on the floor plan.
• Allow four to six weeks or more for a Hong Kong visa if you need one, and request the invitation letter as soon as your ticket is paid.
• Plan around the Airport Express. The venue is 25 to 28 minutes from Kowloon and Central, so travel time adds up over three days.
• Note prices, minimum order quantities and lead times at each stand while you talk. After 30 stands they blur together.

Tips for exhibitors at Asia Fruit Logistica

Exhibitor registration for 2027 is open through the organiser's Exhibitor Management System (EMS). The minimum stand is 9 m2, and stands of 9 to 18 m2 must be booked as a complete stand package.

• First-time exhibitors can apply for the First Timer Pavilion, a fully equipped 6 m2 booth for companies that have never exhibited at the show.
• Service orders, including stand construction, logistics and the organiser's lead retriever rental, go through the EMS order centre.
• Book Asiafruit Showcase slots and press conference slots early; in 2026 both were allocated first come, first served.

How do you get from Hong Kong airport and the city to Asia Fruit Logistica?

AsiaWorld-Expo has its own station on the Airport Express, one stop from the airport terminal. From the city, the Airport Express runs from Hong Kong Station (28 minutes, 85 Hong Kong dollars), Kowloon Station (25 minutes, 78 dollars) and Tsing Yi (18 minutes, 53 dollars), according to the venue.

The organiser does not list a show shuttle bus from hotels. The venue lists hotel shuttle counters at Hong Kong and Kowloon stations on the Airport Express line.

Octopus card and SIM cards for Asia Fruit Logistica visitors

Buy an Octopus card on arrival for the MTR, buses and small purchases. At the airport, the Tourist Octopus is sold at 7-Eleven in the Arrivals Meeters and Greeters Hall, at the MTR ticket and Octopus machines and at the MTR Customer Service Centre in Airport Station.

Every SIM card in Hong Kong has had to be registered under the government's real-name programme since 1 March 2022, so expect to give your details and ID when you buy one; ask the seller which documents they accept from visitors.
