Where is Fruit Attraction and how do you get to IFEMA MADRID?
Fruit Attraction takes place at IFEMA MADRID, Recinto Ferial, Av. Partenón 5, 28042 Madrid. The easiest way there is Metro Line 8 (Nuevos Ministerios to Aeropuerto T4), whose Feria de Madrid stop exits opposite the South entrance.
Line 8 also links the venue to Madrid-Barajas airport, terminals T1-T2-T3 and T4, and Cercanías RENFE trains connect with Line 8. IFEMA says the airport is about ten minutes from the venue.
City buses 73, 112 and 122 and intercity bus 828 stop at IFEMA. Taxis have ranks at the South, North and East entrances, with a 3.00 EUR supplement to enter or leave the grounds. By car, use the M-40 (exits 5, 6 and 7), M-11 (exits 5 and 7) or A-2 (exit 7); car parks sit next to the South, North and East entrances.
IFEMA is renovating parts of the venue, so some entrances and routes may differ. Check the official access map before you travel.

What is on at Fruit Attraction? Areas, halls and who exhibits
Fruit Attraction covers the whole fruit and vegetable value chain in four areas: Fresh Produce, Auxiliary Industry, Innova & Tech, and Fresh Food Logistics. The 2025 edition, by the organiser's final report, had 2,485 exhibitors from 64 countries and 121,137 professionals from 152 countries, 49% of them from abroad.
In 2026 the fair uses Halls 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 14. Halls 9 and 10 are in the north of the site, Halls 3 to 8 in the centre and Halls 12 and 14 at the east end. The organiser says the layout stays the same between editions, with each hall keeping its location and theme, but the 2027 plan is not published yet.
Alongside the stands there are congresses and forums, such as the Biofruit Congress on organic produce and an avocado conference, plus the Innovation Hub and the Best Stand Awards. In 2025 an International Buyers Programme brought 600 invited buyers.
| Area | What you find there |
|---|---|
| Fresh Produce | Fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and spices, fresh-cut and ready-to-eat ranges (IV and V gamma), nuts, frozen, preserved and dried produce, nurseries, sector associations |
| Auxiliary Industry | Suppliers to the rest of the fruit and vegetable value chain |
| Innova & Tech | Agricultural research and technology, including Biotech and Smart Agro |
| Fresh Food Logistics | Cold transport and logistics for perishable products |
Where is the Fruit Attraction exhibitor list and map (expositores y plano)?
The official exhibitor list is the Exhibitors catalogue on the Fruit Attraction site, and the hall plan is the Exhibitors map page next to it. The catalogue lets you search by name, filter by criteria or view the full list; the same data is in Liveconnect, the fair's online networking platform.
The 2027 catalogue and map are not published yet as of October 2026. Liveconnect access is included with every 2026 pass.
Hotels near Fruit Attraction: where to stay in Madrid (hoteles cerca)
Stay near Metro Line 8 or in the Campo de las Naciones business district around IFEMA. The partner hotels IFEMA MADRID lists are in Campo de las Naciones, Valdebebas, Avenida de América, Las Ventas and the city centre near Plaza de España.
Line 8 runs from Nuevos Ministerios in the city to the venue and on to the airport, so the centre works if you change onto Line 8. IFEMA also lists partner hotels with contact details on its hotels page and a partner travel agency for bookings. Book early: the 2025 edition drew 121,137 professionals.
Tips for buyers and visitors at Fruit Attraction
- Register early and ask your suppliers for an invitation code before you pay.
- Plan meetings in Liveconnect and the exhibitor catalogue before you travel; the fair spans ten halls.
- The last day closes at 16:00 in 2026, so put important meetings on the first two days.
- Use the cloakrooms at the hall entrances for luggage; for Halls 9 and 10 the cloakroom is at the North Gate, floor -1. Items with batteries such as e-scooters are not accepted.
- Visitors needing a visa letter can request one from IFEMA customer service.
- Reduced-mobility access must be requested at least 48 hours before the event through IFEMA's online form.
Tips for exhibitors at Fruit Attraction
- Apply through the I want to exhibit page; the Exhibitor's Guide there covers spaces, rates and rules.
- Send invitation codes to your buyers from Expo Zone (Event Access tab). You can track whether each one was sent or redeemed and download the codes to a spreadsheet.
- Personalise your exhibitor passes in Expo Zone first; visa support letters for your staff are requested there, and only when your payments are up to date.
- Discount vouchers for Renfe trains and Iberia flights are in Expo Zone for exhibitors.
How do you get from Madrid-Barajas airport to Fruit Attraction?
Take Metro Line 8: it runs from the airport terminals to Feria de Madrid station, which gives direct access to the fairgrounds. Line 8 also connects with the Cercanías commuter train C1 at Nuevos Ministerios.
IFEMA says a shuttle service runs from the airport and from hotels during certain periods, partly because of construction work around the grounds. Check the Fruit Attraction site closer to the show for whether it runs that week.
By car, access is currently only through Vía de Dublín, with entry to the open car parks (Orange, Green, Brown and Red) from the Glorieta de Sintra; the North and West entrances are closed. Taxis serve the fairgrounds from anywhere in Madrid.
