Visa & travel documents

IAA no longer issues invitation letters — since 2013 German visa applications for fair attendance do not require one. Visitors from visa-required countries normally need a SEASON ticket (Dauereintrittskarte), not a day ticket, as proof for a business visa. Check current Schengen conditions with the German embassy or consulate handling your application; the Auswärtiges Amt and AUMA publish country guidance.
