About the show

Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 — World’s Leading Automotive Aftermarket Trade Fair

Automechanika Frankfurt is the world’s leading international trade fair for the automotive service industry and the automotive aftermarket, held at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds from September 8–12, 2026. Organized by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH, it covers the complete value chain — from parts and components through repair, maintenance, accessories, body and paint, car wash and care, tyres, and digital workshop solutions.

The most recent edition drew around 4,200 exhibiting companies and roughly 108,000 trade visitors from 172 countries across eleven halls. The 2026 edition adds a dedicated Wheels Management & Tyre Service area and a HighTech4Mobility forum on software-defined vehicles. Visitors are workshop and garage operators, parts distributors and wholesalers, fleet managers and importers sourcing for global markets.

It is a heavily distributor-driven, international floor — and that is the problem an exhibitor faces. A buyer leaves with stacked catalogues from a dozen similar parts vendors. Without prompt, specific follow-up that references the exact categories discussed at the stand, your leads blur together with your competitors’ and the value of the show evaporates within a week.

Budget reality check

What exhibiting at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 typically costs.

Space only · small booth (9 m² / 10×10)

€1,600–2,900

Realistic all-in (build, freight, drayage, travel)

€7,000–15,000

Visitor badge

commonly €20–80; trade visitors often free via exhibitor codes

Space rental is only a quarter to a third of the true cost — budget 3–4× the space rate before deciding. These are industry-typical planning ranges for a show of this region and scale, not organizer quotes — confirm against the official exhibitor prospectus, and watch the advance-freight deadline: it quietly decides half the logistics bill.
