Five days at IFA

A Friday conversation, remembered on Tuesday.

IFA runs Friday to Tuesday. Move the day and watch what is left of the detail you would need to write a follow-up worth sending.

One conversation, from the first morning. Drag it to Tue 8 and see what you would still be able to write in a follow-up. The sheet does not move.

Two paths

For exhibitors

Send every follow-up before you leave Berlin.

Two-thirds of the retailers at your stand are not German. Scan the badge, voice-note the market they buy for and the terms they asked about — BoothBot files each lead in your Google Sheet and drafts the follow-up from your notes when you ask.

For sourcing buyers

Work Global Markets without losing the spec.

IFA Global Markets is the OEM/ODM floor, and your trade ticket already covers it. Photograph the product, voice-note the MOQ, the price break and the lead time — SourceBot files each one with the supplier and contact, sorted by the time you land.

About the show

IFA 2026 — Consumer Technology, IFA Next and IFA Global Markets, Berlin

IFA 2026 runs 4–8 September 2026 at Messe Berlin, and is the largest consumer technology and home electronics trade show in Europe. It is operated by IFA Management GmbH and draws roughly 245,000 visitors from 140 countries across five days, from Friday through Tuesday.

IFA is really several shows sharing one ground. The main halls carry finished consumer technology and the brand launches the press days are built around. IFA Next is the startup and innovation floor. IFA Global Markets is the dedicated OEM and ODM sourcing hub, where buyers meet manufacturers with private-label capability rather than brands. A single trade ticket covers all three, which is why the sourcing floor is the part of the ticket most visitors underuse.

Around 1,800 exhibitors take part, and 67 percent of the retailers attending come from outside Germany. That mix pushes stand conversations toward export terms, certifications and lead times faster than a domestic show does — and it means the detail worth keeping from each conversation is rarely the business card alone. Over five days, capturing that detail as it happens is the difference between a full pipeline and a stack of cards nobody can place.

The Open Data Model

Your data is yours, forever.

Everything you capture at IFA 2026 stays in your Google Sheet, shared with you, whether you pay or not. Payment keeps the capture and follow-up engine running beyond opening day. It does not gate access to data you already built.

Plan your visit

Registration & entry

Trade tickets by duration, all with identical access: 1-day €65, 2-day €99.99, full 5-day €138. Advance booking saves up to 18% versus on-site prices. Every trade ticket includes IFA, IFA Next and IFA Global Markets.

Who gets in

Separate ticket types for trade visitors, private visitors, creators, press and investors. 1,900+ exhibitors from 49 countries; visitors from 140 countries, 67% of retailers international.

Finding your way

Messe Berlin. Main halls for finished consumer tech, IFA Next for startups, IFA Global Markets as the dedicated OEM/ODM sourcing hub. 270 speakers across 125 sessions. Check the venue map before arriving — the ground is large.

Budget reality check

What exhibiting at IFA 2026 typically costs.

Space only · small booth (9 m² / 10×10)

€1,600–2,900

Realistic all-in (build, freight, drayage, travel)

€7,000–15,000

Visitor badge

commonly €20–80; trade visitors often free via exhibitor codes

Space rental is only a quarter to a third of the true cost — budget 3–4× the space rate before deciding. These are industry-typical planning ranges for a show of this region and scale, not organizer quotes — confirm against the official exhibitor prospectus, and watch the advance-freight deadline: it quietly decides half the logistics bill.

Questions

Common questions.

Why does a five-day show need this more than a three-day one?

IFA runs Friday to Tuesday. By day four nobody reconstructs a Saturday conversation accurately — the stand was loud, the card is one of two hundred, and the detail that mattered is gone. Capturing at the moment it happens is the only thing that survives five days.

Does it work for IFA Global Markets as well as the main halls?

Yes, and they are different jobs. BoothBot is for exhibitors capturing visitors at a stand. SourceBot is for buyers walking Global Markets, filing products with the supplier, MOQ and lead time. Your trade ticket covers both floors; one signup covers both bots.

How does the free first day work?

Sign up with your email. The first 24 hours after your first capture are free. Every lead, product and voice note flows into a Google Sheet shared with you. Payment continues the capture beyond day one — which at IFA means the four days after it.

What happens to my data after the show?

It stays yours. Everything you captured at IFA remains in your Google Sheet and dashboard, whether you pay or not. Most platforms lock the data behind a renewal. We don’t.

Will the follow-up emails sound like me?

Yes. You add one line of context per lead. DaGaMa Intelligence drafts the follow-up from your notes, ready to send from your Gmail or Outlook. Nothing leaves your inbox without your approval.
