About the show

NY NOW Summer 2026 — The Market for Home, Lifestyle + Gift

NY NOW is a wholesale trade market for the home, lifestyle and gift industries, held twice yearly at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The Summer 2026 edition runs August 2–4. It is organized around two collections — HOME (décor, furnishings, textiles, tabletop and gourmet housewares) and LIFESTYLE (gifts, personal care, accessories, stationery and children’s products) — plus curated sections including Handmade Global Design, Indie NOW and Sustainable NOW.

The exhibitors are makers, importers and consumer-product brands. The buyers are independent specialty retailers, boutiques, galleries and interior designers who come to discover lines and write wholesale orders on the spot. With a lineage stretching back over a century to the New York International Gift Fair, NY NOW remains one of the defining order-writing markets on the US calendar.

For a small maker working the booth, the market is an order-writing sprint. Buyers move fast and decide later, building their open-to-buy lists in the days after the show. A line that does not get a follow-up while that list is still open is a line that gets forgotten — and the order goes to the brand that followed up first.

The Open Data Model

Budget reality check

What exhibiting at NY NOW Summer 2026 typically costs.

Space only · small booth (9 m² / 10×10)

$3,000–5,000

Realistic all-in (build, freight, drayage, travel)

$10,000–19,000

Visitor badge

often free with early registration; $50–150 late or on-site

Space rental is only a quarter to a third of the true cost — budget 3–4× the space rate before deciding. These are industry-typical planning ranges for a show of this region and scale, not organizer quotes — confirm against the official exhibitor prospectus, and watch the advance-freight deadline: it quietly decides half the logistics bill.

Questions

Common questions.

I work my booth alone — is this realistic for one person?

That is exactly who it is built for. Scan a badge in seconds, voice-note who was serious. DaGaMa does the filing and drafts the follow-ups, so a solo maker covers a full three-day market without a second pair of hands.

How does the free first day work?

Sign up with your email. The first 24 hours after your first capture are free. Every buyer and voice note flows into a Google Sheet shared with you. Payment continues the capture beyond day one.

What happens to my data after the market?

It stays yours. Everything you captured at NY NOW remains in your Google Sheet and dashboard, whether you pay or not. Most platforms lock the data behind a renewal. We don’t.

Will the follow-up emails sound like me?

Yes. You add one line of context per buyer. DaGaMa Intelligence drafts the follow-up from your notes, ready to send from your Gmail or Outlook. Nothing leaves your inbox without your approval.
