Working Asia Fruit Logistica 2026 for the first time.

756 exhibitors, 13,000 attendees, and a rhythm you only learn by working it. Here's what matters — for the booth side and the buying side — plus the Hong Kong logistics nobody puts in the brochure.

If you're exhibiting

New exhibitor tips

01

This is Asia's fresh-produce trading floor

Asia Fruit Logistica exists so growers, packers, importers and retail buyers across Asia can meet in one place. Your neighbour list matters more than your stand size — confirm which country pavilion or category area you sit in before signing.

02

Plan the stand properly, early

The organiser publishes detailed stand-registration and stand-planning requirements, and Hong Kong build windows are tight. Late stand submissions are where budgets break — the planning pack is the document to read first, not the brochure.

03

Fresh produce is a cold-chain conversation

Buyers here evaluate you on shelf life, packaging, treatment protocols and shipping windows as much as on price. Have your cold-chain and phytosanitary answers ready in writing — this is not a category where "we'll check and follow up" wins.

04

Capture varieties, not just companies

A produce lead is worthless without the variety, grade, pack format, season window and price basis. Photograph the sample with the stand sign and voice-note the specifics on the spot.

New visitor tips

01

Come with your season calendar

The value of this show is matching supply windows to your gaps. Know which months you are short before you walk in, and prioritise the pavilions that fill them.

02

Use the travel service

The organiser runs an official travel service for accommodation and logistics. Hong Kong in early September is busy — book through it rather than independently unless you already know the city.

03

Check entry requirements early

Hong Kong entry rules vary widely by passport. Verify visa requirements as soon as your attendance is confirmed, and carry proof of trade status for registration.

04

Walk the country pavilions systematically

The floor groups by origin. Doing three origins thoroughly beats sampling twelve — you want to compare like with like on price and quality within a category.

How the days flow

  • —Day 1: the biggest buyer turnout — importers and retail chains do their first pass and set up follow-ups.
  • —Day 2: sample tastings and detailed negotiation; the day contracts actually get discussed.
  • —Day 3: shorter and quieter — good for revisits, price movement, and meeting the people who were too busy on day one.

Hong Kong logistics

Getting there

AsiaWorld-Expo, on Lantau Island next to Hong Kong International Airport — one of the few major fairgrounds you can reach from the terminal on foot or by a short shuttle.

Where to stay

Airport-adjacent hotels put you minutes from the hall; Kowloon and Hong Kong Island mean a 40-minute Airport Express ride each way but a real evening. Choose by whether your days are back-to-back meetings or exploratory.

September in Hong Kong

Hot and humid, with typhoon season still live. Build a buffer day into travel plans and keep samples out of the heat between the hall and your hotel.

The tip every guide agrees on

Capture at the booth. Never "the stack for later."
