Working CPHI Worldwide 2026 for the first time.
2,400 exhibitors, 62,000 attendees, and a rhythm you only learn by working it. Here's what matters — for the booth side and the buying side — plus the Milan logistics nobody puts in the brochure.
If you're exhibiting
New exhibitor tips
Pick your zone before you pick your stand
CPHI splits the floor into zones — AI & Tech, cold chain and logistics, contamination control and labelling are new for 2026, alongside the established ingredient and machinery areas. Buyers navigate by zone, so being in the wrong one costs you the audience you booked for.
Your visitors paid to be here
Passes start at €247 and run to €3,999. Nobody at CPHI is browsing on a free badge — every conversation is with someone whose company approved a real ticket, so lead with substance and skip the qualifying script.
The Better Stands programme changes build economics
Informa runs a Better Stands scheme pushing exhibitors from disposable builds to reusable structures, with modular options offered directly. If you exhibit across the CPHI network — Milan, Shanghai, India, Japan, Korea, Middle East, Americas — a reusable build amortises across the year rather than getting skipped.
Meetings are booked in the Event Planner
Visitors browse the exhibitor list and schedule meetings before they travel. Complete your listing early; premium passes get early floor entry, which means your first appointments can start before general opening.
Sixty-two thousand people, three days
Against 2,900 exhibiting companies, the arithmetic favours you — but only if the stand captures cleanly. Record the company, the molecule or service discussed, and the follow-up owner at the moment of the conversation; pharma procurement cycles are too long to reconstruct from memory.

New visitor tips
Buy early — the discount is 25%
Standard passes drop from €329 to €247, Explorer from €499 to €374, and Leader from €799 to €599 when bought before the early cut-off (7 September for 2026). Groups of 3–10 save a further 15%.
Understand what the upgrade actually buys
Explorer adds early floor entry, the Match & Meet Lounge and a three-day public transport pass — in Milan, that transport pass alone offsets much of the difference. Leader adds fast-track entry, the Leader Lounge and the Leaders Summit.
Print the badge before you travel
Your badge and QR code arrive by email ahead of the show. Self-service printing exists on site, but the queue for it is the first thing between you and a 10:00 meeting.
Visa letters cost extra and take time
CPHI provides participation letters through an official partner (MiCo DMC) as a paid service, and you need your registration key from the confirmation email. Start the process the moment you register, not the month before.
Book accommodation through bnetwork
bnetwork is the official accommodation partner. Milan in early October runs alongside other fairs — independent booking at that time of year is significantly more expensive.
Capture the spec, not the brochure
With 2,900 exhibitors, the differentiator is the detail: GMP status, capacity, lead time, minimum order, regulatory filings held. Photograph the stand sign with the spec sheet and voice-note the numbers before moving on.
How the days flow
- —Day 1: heaviest traffic and the day premium-pass holders get early entry — front-load your priority meetings.
- —Day 2: the deep working day; conference sessions and the Leaders Summit pull decision-makers off the floor at intervals.
- —Day 3: lighter aisles, easier access to senior staff on big stands, and the best day for pricing and terms conversations.
Milan logistics
Getting there
Fiera Milano in Rho, northwest of the city, on the M1 metro line — roughly 30 minutes from the centre. Check transport options from Malpensa, Linate, and the central station before you land; the Explorer pass includes a three-day transport pass.
Where to stay
bnetwork holds the official block. Rho-adjacent hotels save commute time; central Milan is better for the evening programme and the Duomo networking events.
Plan the evenings too
CPHI runs after-hours networking — the Duomo experience with private access is the flagship. These sell out well before the show and are where senior conversations actually happen.
The tip every guide agrees on
Capture at the booth. Never "the stack for later."
Whichever side of the aisle you work at CPHI Worldwide 2026, DaGaMa turns photos of cards, badges, and products into a structured Google Sheet you own — in WhatsApp, Telegram, or WeChat. Free for your first 24 hours.
