Working Cosmoprof Asia 2026 for the first time.

2,800 exhibitors, 88,000 attendees, and a rhythm you only learn by working it. Here's what matters — for the booth side and the buying side — plus the Hong Kong logistics nobody puts in the brochure.

If you're exhibiting

New exhibitor tips

01

Know your buyer geography

Cosmoprof Asia draws distributors and retailers from across Asia-Pacific with very different regulatory needs. Prep answers on ingredient compliance and registration timelines per market — it's the first serious question Asian distributors ask.

02

Packaging tells the story

This show is visual merchandising warfare. Budget for booth presentation and retail-ready packaging displays; distributors photograph shelves, not spec sheets.

03

Follow up same-day

Hong Kong buyers move fast and comparison-shop the hall. A follow-up with your line sheet before dinner beats a perfect email next week.

If you're visiting or buying

New visitor tips

01

Split brand halls from supply halls

Finished brands and the supply chain (packaging, ingredients, contract manufacturing) are distinct zones — plan days by which business you're doing.

02

Ask for market-entry proof

If you're buying for your market, ask which countries a brand already registered in — it predicts how painful import compliance will be.

03

Capture regulatory details at the booth

Ingredient lists, certifications, MOQs for private label: photograph and voice-note them per supplier. Comparing twenty lookalike suppliers later is impossible from memory.

How the days flow

  • —Day 1: distributor scouting day — decision-makers walk early.
  • —Day 2: deepest traffic; book your key meetings here.
  • —Final day: retail buyers and deal-hunting; suppliers more flexible on samples and trial orders.

Hong Kong logistics

Getting there

HKCEC, Wan Chai. MTR to Wan Chai (10-minute walk via footbridge) or Exhibition Centre station; taxis are plentiful but Wan Chai traffic crawls at rush hour.

Hotels

Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are walkable; Tsim Sha Tsui works with a quick MTR hop. Show-week rates spike — book a month-plus ahead.

Money & connectivity

Octopus card for transit, cards accepted everywhere; mainland-style app restrictions don't apply in Hong Kong.

The tip every guide agrees on

Capture at the booth. Never "the stack for later."

Whichever side of the aisle you work at Cosmoprof Asia 2026, DaGaMa turns photos of cards, badges, and products into a structured Google Sheet you own — in WhatsApp, Telegram, or WeChat. Free for your first 24 hours.
